One of our Mums, Nicky was sent Sophie the Giraffe to try out on her seven month old son Jamie. Here’s what she thought of it (or rather, what he thought of it!)
I have tried lots of different teethers for my sons. With Mitchell, now 4, I tried all the traditional teethers, the rings, the ones you put in the fridge, everything and he was never bothered by them, although he never had a problem teething. With my second son, Jamie, we had a nightmare. He started teething at 4 months, first tooth popped out at 4 1/2 months and he was a nightmare. Nothing helped, again I tried everything but he wasn’t interested. Then I was given Sophie The Giraffe for him to try. I would just like to say, WHAT AN AMAZING TEETHER!!!!! From the second I gave it to him he wouldn’t let go. It went straight in his mouth and when I tried to take it off him to look at he just wouldn’t let go. I don’t know if it was the smell, the feel or the fact that it squeaks but he adored it. We have now had tooth number 3 show an appearance and I honestly feel this teether toy has helped in some way. He loves chewing on it whether it be her leg, head or bum, he just loves the feel of it on his gums. I would defiantly recommend buying of these when your child starts teething, they really are a brilliant idea.
Review from Nicky Dawson, Mum to Mitchell and Jamie.
