cerazette

cerazette

New postby sarahthompson76 » Sat Jan 23, 2010 1:56 pm

Really hoping someone can help as ive read so many horror stories about cerazette and people being unable to get pregnant or suffering mc's after coming off this pill  I stopped taking Cerazette on the 10th of Jan, had what felt like ovulation pains on the 12th and then a pulling, cramping kind of pain on the 21st(been having lots of bedroom & settee action) . Yesterday i noticed a very small amount of pinkisk blood/discharge inside me(not when i wipe or anything but bn checking cervical mucus for any signs). Ive taken a very early hpt but its negative, i still haven't even had a withdrawal bleed. Two years ago i feel pregnant instantly after stopping another pill but after reading so many horror stories im so confused and scared. Anyone in the same boat or had similar experiences, anything will help. Thanks Sarah X

I used to take Cerazette and really liked it. I didn't have any problems with it, or with coming off it. That's probably not much help. I got pregnant about a year after stopping taking it (was on something else in the meantime though) and had no problems, though perhaps that gap was big enough.

Have you been using anything since you stopped taking it? Are you trying to get pregnant? Could it be implantation bleeding?

Well I know it's easy to say but I wouldn't worry just yet. Even if there are risks they're always minimal. Good luck with TTC! Keep us posted.

Aww no experience hun soz but just want to say good luck and keep positive. If you have any questions etc im sure the family planning clinic or your doc would be there to listen and to advice.
Good luck girly x

Was just reading my post which i wrote back in January and thought i would add an update in case anyone is in a similar situation. After doing 35 yes 35 pregnancy test and getting all negative results i resided myself to the fact it was going to take me a long time to conceive and that i should just forget about it. To cut a long story short i brought a very cheap pack of three pregnancy test from a pound shop and got the shock of my life, not only was i pregnant, i was nearly four months pregnant i virtually conceived on day one of stopping the pill. Im booked in for a c section(although determined to have a natural birth this time round) on Oct 26th and so far having a fab pregnancy. Good luck to all of you pregnant and trying to conceive.
