Next week

New postby weezypops » Thu Aug 04, 2011 2:28 pm

Anyone fancy doing anything next week? Not sure what the weather's supposed to be like but I was thinking of maybe some soft play (Monkey Bizzness? or somewhere else?) and maybe going to one of the Partyman in the Park things at Wat Tyler. Anyone fancy either of those, or something else? Beach? Park? Woods? (can you tell we haven't been out much?!)

Which beach is good for crabbing? I'd definitely be up for that? Maybe Wednesday or Friday?

William always loves going to the woods as he loves the park there!

I think we are going to try and do the speech therapy beach day at Chalkwell beach on Wednesday. If it is on and if it isn't majorly too hot!

Do you have to book for that or just turn up do you know? Perhaps we could come along to that and do some crabbing too.

Well shall we do the beach on Wednesday anyway and join in if it goes ahead? We can always wander off later. We could meet at 12?

Then maybe the woods on friday? Belfairs? Hockley? Or somewhere else?

Theres the fountains in town near the sea front which were really good fun, needs to be a early start though or it does get busy quickly. Im definetly taking my 2 back, they enjoyed it so much and just for the price of parking!!

Could do other parks, I know my 2 get a bit bored of the same ones, Priory is open now by the looks of Jenns photos, and Southchurch park was lovely when we went the other day.

I'd be up for something at Southchurch Park. Is that where Southchurch Hall is too?

No - thats actually on Woodgrange Drive (its ok and has a lake, large grounds to play ball - but thats pretty much it.

The park is if you go down the sea front towards Ocean beach and then take one of the roads off it, there, its all enclosed and has all the normal park bits, with trees and grassy areas too.

Oooh, maybe (if I find some money!) we could have lunch at Ocean Beach, I'd like to try it there.

The park is literally 2 mins away from Oceon beach you just walk down the road opposite. There is a pool right near ocean beach where we went crabbing it just depends what time the tide is out.
