Let’s Talk with the under 5’s

This course is led by Isobel Wratislaw, the Speech and Language Therapist for Southend Borough Council Early Years Team and is designed to help parents and carers to support the development of speech and language in their under 5’s. All children develop at different rates but there are many things that parents and carers can do in partnership to help children to develop their language skills.
The course is designed to give parents and carers information about practical activities they can do with their children: games they can play, songs, rhymes and activities that support the development of language in young children.
Suitable for parents and carers of children from 2 years – 5 years –
(6 sessions)

Starting: Tuesday 8th June.
Time: 1:00pm – 3:00pm or 7pm – 9pm

Limited Crèche places are available for 2 – 4 year olds during the daytime course
(£2 per session)

They do run this at other childrens centres too! I was offered it with William. It sounds very good although as William was so bad the HV referred me to Speech Therapy instead of this.
