Admirals
Park, Tower Gardens and the adjoining West Park cover
an area of approximately 30 hectares. Within this area of
parkland the visitor can experience and explore an array of different
landscapes - from the beautifully manicured Tower Gardens
through to areas managed to improve our natural environment.
Located within 1.5 km of Chelmsford's busy town centre, the three parks
cover an area of approximately 30 hectares. Set in a mature landscape
and adjoining the River Can the setting is popular throughout the year
attracting 100,000 plus visitors per annum.

Residents and visitors alike benefit
from a wide range of facilities; football and cricket pitches, pitch
& putt golf, bowling green, tennis courts, angling, canoeing
and play areas offer recreational opportunities. Footpath and cycleway
networks link the parkland with surrounding areas, and ornamental
gardens provide a pleasant location to relax. Something for everyone!
Admirals Park is a beautiful town centre park, very popular with
residents and visitors alike. The River Can meanders alongside creating
areas to enjoy nature and unwind.

Set in a mature landscape and adjoining the River Can, West Park is a
delightful little park with a popular 18 hole pitch & putt and
9 hole crazy golf course.
You can find the park along Waterhouse Lane
and from the riverside walk network.
