The Great Maze

The Original Great Maze first opened in the summer of 1999, claiming the world record for the greatest distance within a maize maze. Each year since then, it has been re-created and improved, with a completely new and original challenge designed by the 'maize maze' master David E. Partridge.

The Original Great Maze returns once again for another summer and with an aMAZing new adventure! Sown from over half a million maize seeds, the challenge is on!

On your journey, keep a sharp eye out for the animals lost in the maze as you may be rewarded for finding them all.

If you are new to one of the greatest maze experiences, there is a lost souls escape map available to help you and a viewing platform to spot lost friends still lost in the green labyrinth. There is also a picnic area, with refreshments and souvenirs available to remember your day.

Many people have turned their visit to the maize maze into an annual event, but there is always a new adventure to be found!

When you have conquered the maze, why not take a look around the Blake House Craft Centre, visit Timbers Restaurant, or challenge your friends to a game of crazy golf. Come and ‘get lost’ for a fun family day out, whatever the weather.
